Airport Customs
Officer: Good afternoon. Passport, please.
Passenger: Good afternoon. Sure, here you go.
Officer: Thank you. What’s the purpose of your visit?
Passenger: I’m here for tourism. I’ve been planning this trip for a while, and I’d like to visit a few cities and relax.
Officer: How long are you staying?
Passenger: I’ll be staying for about ten days. I have a return flight booked for next week.
Officer: Alright… just a moment.
(typing)
Officer: I’m seeing something here… There seems to be a problem with your visa.
Passenger: Oh, really? I’m not sure what the issue might be. I applied for it a few weeks ago and everything was approved.
Officer: According to our system, your visa is still pending. It hasn’t been fully processed yet.
Passenger: That’s strange. I received a confirmation email saying it was approved. Would you like me to show it to you?
Officer: Yes, please.
Passenger: Here it is on my phone.
Officer: Thank you… give me a moment while I check this.
(typing)
Officer: Alright, I see the issue now. It looks like there was a delay updating the system. Your visa has actually been approved.
Passenger: Oh, that’s a relief.
Officer: Yes, everything seems to be in order now.
Passenger: I’m glad to hear that.
Officer:Okay, you’re all set. Enjoy your stay.
Passenger: Thank you very much. I appreciate your help.
