Security Check (Mother explaining to her son)
Mom: Listen, when you get to airport security, don’t worry, it’s pretty straightforward.
Son: Okay… what do I have to do?
Mom: First you’ll stand in line until it’s your turn . When you get to the front, they’ll ask you to put your backpack on the conveyor belt.
Son: Alright, backpack on the conveyor belt.
Mom: Then you’ll need to take out your laptop and put it in a separate tray.
Son: Laptop in a separate tray. Got it.
Mom: You’ll also have to take off your shoes , your belt, and your jacket and place them in a tray.
Son: My belt too?
Mom: Yeah, usually they ask you to take it off.
Son: Okay, taking off belt.
Mom: And remember, no liquids in your bag. If you have water or anything like that, you have to throw it away before going through security.
Son: Good to know. So, I guess I have to buy water after I go through security?
Mom: Then when everything is in the trays, they’ll tell you to walk through the scanner.
Son: And that’s it?
Mom: Yep. Then you just pick up your things on the other side and pack everything back up.
Son: Alright… that sounds easy enough. Thanks mom!
